Reason for Visit:

Initial Condition:

Old metal-ceramic restorations.

Exposed and darkened tooth roots.

Missing teeth in posterior areas and reduced vertical dimension of occlusion.

Treatment Stages

Stage 1: Sanitation & Preparatory Phase

Removal of old restorations to fully assess the condition of the teeth and supporting tissues.

Periodontal treatment to improve gum health.

Caries treatment and re-treatment of root canals (endodontic therapy).

Masking old post-and-core restorations and darkened roots on anterior teeth using ceramic coping covers.

Stage 2: Surgical Phase

Placement of dental implants in missing-tooth areas using guided surgical templates.

Soft tissue surgery to close gingival recessions and restore gum symmetry.

Stage 3: Functional Rehabilitation

Axiography to record jaw movements.

Splint therapy to establish a stable functional mandibular position.

Stage 4: Smile Design

Creation of a diagnostic wax-up considering the new mandibular position — a key step in planning the full-mouth rehabilitation.

Transfer of the smile design into the mouth using a mock-up to harmonize the shape of future restorations.

Stage 5: Aesthetic & Functional Finalization

Tooth preparation and fabrication of 28 ceramic veneers, onlays, and crowns.

Final fixation of restorations on both arches to achieve the planned aesthetic and functional result.
